2024 ATLAS Masterclass at Berkeley Lab

Berkeley Lab will be hosting a ATLAS Masterclass  where students can become particle physicists for a day!

Students will get the opportunity to experience first hand what it means to be a particle physicist. They will learn data analysis techniques and work collaboratively in a group to produce results.

This event is will occur on: Saturday, April 27th, 2024.

The program will include:

• Introductory lessons by UC Berkeley and Berkeley Lab physicists

• Hands-on computational analysis of real data from the LHC

• A tour of local laboratory facilities

• A discussion with Berkeley graduate students
